Ah, the humble dumpling. What’s better, more satisfying, or more comforting than a fluffy dumpling submerged in a hot stew on a rainy night?
Of course, traditional dumplings aren’t gluten free. But that’s no problem… luckily there are lots of recipes out there for those following a gluten-free diet. So to make your transition into the winter months a little more comfy and cosy, we thought we’d share a few of our favourites. Pair with stews, soups, casseroles, or (if you like them that much) just eat them on their own with a bit of gravy!
– Have a go at these gluten-free dumplings from Coeliac By Design.
– Or these gluten free herb dumplings from Coeliac UK.
– These “easy dumplings without suet” from Hint of Helen.
– Or these ones courtesy of the Gluten Free Alchemist.
A few recipes as well…
Well, we couldn’t leave you with only the dumplings, could we? So here are a few stew and casserole recipes as well…
– Here’s a hearty vegetable stew from Our Salty Kitchen.
– A lovely chickpea & squash casserole from Jamie Oliver.
– A warming yellow split pea soup from Love & Lemons.
– Or a gluten-free cream of mushroom soup from Gluten-Free Palate.
