Our story

Fresh and natural foods have always been important to our family, which is why they’re important to Thornleys. 

I first started making these products to help with my daughter Abigail’s gluten allergy. She asked me once for a tuna and pasta bake, but I couldn’t find any sauces that were suitable for her dietary needs (Abigail like myself and my father is a Coeliac). So, being a mother, I made one myself, and the concept of Thornleys was born.

Here at Thornleys it is our mission to provide only the highest-quality products, and as such all of our sauces are 100% natural and free of chemicals, additives, preservatives, colours, MSG, gluten and wheat.

We’re passionate about what we do, and we pride ourselves on the quality of our products, which is why each and every one of our sauces has been individually certified wheat and gluten free.

Delivered as dry-powder sauces and sealed in high-quality lightweight foil packets for ease of transit, our sauces only need a little bit of attention to go from packet to plate. So take them to a friend’s for a fancy dinner party, or even slip a few in your suitcase for some quick and delicious holiday meals.
