Chilli Con Carne with Pancakes

What you'll need:
  • 1 pack Thornleys Chilli Con Carne recipe mix
  • 450 grams Minced Beef or Meat Substitute
  • 100 ml Cold Water
  • 400 grams Passata
  • 400 gram Tin of Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 Carrot – grated or finely chopped
  • 100 grams Mature Cheddar Cheese
  • Corn Tortilla Wraps or replace with Homemade Pancakes

How to cook:

Fry the minced beef in a little oil (when mince is cooked drain off excess fat).

Add passata, kidneys beans and carrot to pan, cook gently for 5 minutes

Blend the packet contents with water then add to pan.  Bring to the boil whilst stirring gently.

Place 2tbs of the chilli mix into a pancake and roll and place in an oven-proof dish. 

When all mixture is used up sprinkle the cheese on top and place in an over on 150 for 15 mins.
