There might be simpler gluten free bread recipes out there, but we’ve yet to find one…
To make this delicious loaf, all you need is:
- 250 grams gluten-free self-raising flour
- 250 grams gluten-free oats
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 5 tablespoons of your favourite seeds
- 500 millilitres lukewarm water
To bake:
- Pre-heat the oven to 180C, and place a pan of water on the bottom shelf.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, yeast, salt, and seeds.
- Pour in the water. Mix until everything is incorporated and there aren’t any dry bits left.
- Pour the batter into a bread tin (either oiled or lined with baking paper). Then put the tin in the oven and bake for around 80 minutes.
- Turn the bread out of the pan and place on a cooling rack. Wait until it’s fully cooled before cutting into it.
Serve with jam, butter, marmite, or whatever you fancy. Enjoy!
